???: Now here I come! Junk Destroyer direct attack! End this duel

The giant robotic figure charged at the opponent delivering an incredebly strong punch. The life point meter in Redgar's duel disk hit 0 indicating his opponent had lost.

Redgar: Good duel once again. Although you are not in your top shape.

???: Considering I just got out of "there" you should admit I am dueling quite decent.

Redgar: Hahaha yeah I guess you are right. Well finally the day came. I wonder how the others are doing...

Meanwhile back in SDA...

Ace: Hahaha is that all? Go Ancient Fairy Dragon...DIRECT ATTACK!!!

Chazz: Not so fast! I activate the trap card Descending lost star returning back Powertool Dragon...

Winduct was sitting in the large couch of the elite 3 mansion. He was watching the duel between Ace and Chazz although his mind was elsewere. A sudden knock at the door woke him up from his daydreaming. The door opened and a tall figure entered.

Iverson: Good morning everyone! How are you this fine day?

Ace and Chazz stopped dueling and greeted the headmaster.

Winduct: Mr Iverson today is the day right...?

Iverson: Yes it is. THat's why I came.

Ace: So is it ready?

Iverson: Yes it is. All we need now is Redgar to begin. By the way where is he?

Winduct: He went to pick up his girlfriend...

Everybody burst out laughing

Chazz: Hahahaha good one Wind! Anyways he went to pick her up. He said he'd be back by noon so he should be arriving any time now.

Iverson: Gosh he is always late for these kind of stuff...


Meanwhile...

Redgar was driving his motorcycle at full speed. Once again he was late. He felt excited as the cold fresh air touched his face. Oh carp he thought I forgot to wear my helmet again. Let's just wish...

Redgar saw a police car behind him. He stopped the motorcycle immidiately and went off road

Redgar: Here let me help you

He helped his co-rider to get down. He turned to the direction of the police car and saw a familiar face looking at him with his hands crossed n his chest

???: That's the third time I catch you running at high speed. I warned you the last time I am afraid this time I am forced to give you a call.

Redgar: But you know today is the day Aris...We must hurry

Aris's expression lightened. He turned to the woman next to Redgar.

Aris: Good Morning Miss Taylor.

MissTaylor: Hey Aris!

Aris: You both get in the car. I ll take you to the academy.
Redgar: I owe you big time Ari
Aris: How about giving me that Junk Destroyer? It looks kinda intere..
Redgar: No way...
Aris: Meh I had some slight hope. Anyways let's go...

About an hour later in SDA...

Winduct: Annoyaro That Redgar...he is way to late again...
Ace: Relax he is Redgar. He will never be on time.
Chazz: Hahaha true that!

Suddenly they heard a siren from somewhere outside

Iverson: What is the police doing here?
Chazz: Bits me. Let's go check it out

All 4 of them exited the room and reached the entrance of SDA.

Redgar: Wow here is our welcoming party

Redgar saw 4 faces looking at him straight in the eyes

Redgar: Uhmmm what's up guys?

Iverson/Winduct/Chazz/Ace: YOU ARE LATE AGAIN

Redgar: Aaa yeah about that I saw an old man and I had to help him cross the street...

Chazz: LIAR!!!!!

Iverson: Ari what a pleasant surprise. What are you doing here?
Aris: Greeting everyone. As always Redgar was running quite fast so I had to stop him. Then he told me this is the day so I brought both of them here

Everybody looked at MissTaylor now

MissTaylor: Um hi there guys

Ace: Geez since the day you came back Redgar is always late. I wonder what's keeping him busy...

Everybody started laughing again

Redgar: Shut up!!!!

Iverson: Hahaha anyways we have work to do! Ari thank you for bringing them here but we have to go now. You do what I told you

Aris: Do not worry. I haven't forgotten. Later everyone

Aris entered the car and drifted away from the academy.

Iverson: Now let's get serious.

He turned to MissTaylor

MissTaylor: I know I know. Here

She handed over a card to Iverson.

Iverson: Excellent! Now let's go save Blaze

Redgar: Matteroyo Just wait Blaze! We ll save you

Chapter 23: The Power Of A God

Dark Magician saw the two creatures coming at him. A faint smile appeared on his lips. He charged and bashed headless knight with his staff making him lost his footing and dropping to the floor. Dark Jeroid grabbed him with his many arms and opened his ugly mouth wide open to try and bite him. The magician turned the staff towards him and a blue bolt emerged from it turning the creatures to pieces. Headless Knight got up and charged again but with another bolt Dark Magician easily defeated the creature.

"Curse you" shouted Bakura.

Marik: "Let's show him something worthy of his attention, Bakura"

Bakura nodded and both of them drew a card.

"Come to my side to spread fear and despair to MY enemies... DARK NECROFEAR"

"Masked Beast Des Gardius" whispered Marik

The two creatures arose next to their masters. The first one was blue, with dark armor holding a broken baby doll in his hands. The second one was a three-faced creature wearing masks at all three of his heads.

"You called me" asked the second creature.

"Indeed I did" replied Marik. "Please take care of them for me" he said pointing at Chazz and Yugi.

The creature nodded and along with Dark Necrofear they charged at Dark Magician.

Yugi sighed and released yet another card. "Help your master in combat, Dark Magician Girl"

Another magician, female, smaller than the first one appeared next to Yugi. She was wearing a pink and blue robe and had a small staff in her right hand. She smiled at Yugi and Chazz, causing Chazz cheeks to turn red and then went and stood next to Dark magician.

"Bring it" said Dark Magician.

The two creatures charged at full speed. The battle was imense and went on for several minutes. Dark Necrofear, murmured some words and the doll in his hands, took a gloomy red light. He then threw the doll at the two wizards and with another weird word the doll exploded. When the smoke cleared though the wizards were noone to be seen.

"Above you"

Dark Necrofear turned to the place were the voice was heard but was too late and both wizards hit him with their staffs making his head split in two. Des Gradius roared angrily and slashed at Dark Magician Girl. At the final momment Dark Magician stepped in front of her taking the hit. He felt the creature's claws deep in his flesh. Instead of trying to escape he dropped his staff and caught the creature's hand with both of his hands. The creature seemed surprised by his action. Then Dark Magician shouted "NOW" and Dark Magician Girl nodded and cast a spell that sent a blue lightning straight on Des Gardius. The creature screamed from pain before vanishing. Yugi hurried to Dark Magician's side.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Dark Magician nodded and Yugi took a step back. Marik took a few steps towards them looking furious. "You...how dare you do this to me? NOW I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT TRUE TERROR IS"

The air around Marik suddenly turned vicious. He was glooming in a yellow light.

"What's happening?" asked Chazz.

Yugi did not answer although he knew the answer. Then suddenly with a voice darker and much different than his original voice Marik started talking:

"Great beast of the sky, please hear my cry. Transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight. Envelop the desert with your glow and cast your rage upon my foe. Unlock your powers from deep within so that together we may win. Appear now before me as I call your name, WiWINGED DRAGON OF RA!"

The sky opened in two and a lightning storke before them. THen slowly a tramendous golden flying creature soared above them.

"RA, EXTERMINATE THEM"

THe gigantic creature turned at Yugi ready to charge. He opened his mouth revealing his huge sharp teeth. Then it started gthering energy into a round ball-shaped ball in it's mouth.

"Chazz, run as far as your legs can carry you" cried Yugi. "I'll take care of this thing"

Chazz: "What are you saying? How are you supposed to defeat such thing by yourself?"

"JUST GO! THAT'S AN ORDER"

Without having much of a choice Chazz turned and started running far from the site.

"After him" Marik grimmed to Bakura. Bakura obeyed without question.

Everyone satyed still,stunned for a few minutes. Chazz and Bakura were nowhere to be seen. Then as the dragon was ready to release it's ray, a terrible scream was heard from the place Marik was standing. Yugi and his monsters turned to him and saw a sword layed across his chest. Marik whispered "W..h..y.." before falling, face-down to the floor. The humongous dragon vanished and returned to it's card.

"That was easy". Yugi saw the man named Witch King taking the card from Marik's body. "Panos our work is over, here. Let's get going. It was a pleasure meeting you Yugi, I hope to see you again in the future." Then he said, "Two down" and vanished inside the huge castle.

Dark Magician: "Shall we go after them"

Yugi tried to come to his sensed. He approached Marik and checkd for pulse. Nothing. He swore, and then answered to Dark Magician. "I don't really know what's happening but we better go back to the front gate to help Jack and Yusei."

The creatures nodded and all three of them departed.

Meanwhile at the Back Gate...

Kaiba's three dragons were each fighting one of the monarchs. Pegasus attended to Keith and Kaiba had placed a barrier above them. Kuraz seemed to be having some difficulties against Kaiba's monster but it was clear Thestalos and Caius were just toying with them.

"Fireball" shouted Thestalos. The atack hit the first dragon head on sending him flying to a nearby wall.

"Chaos Punch" murmured Caius and punched at the second dragon. A hole opened in it's chest and the dragon vanished.

"Lightning Strike" said Kuraz. The ray hit the dragon but he managed to withstand the hit and shot a ball of white beams back at Kuraz. Kuraz shielded it in time with a spell he murmured.

"Oi Kuraz what's keeping you" asked Thestalos sarcasticly

"Shut up, I am still injured from my previous battles"

Kaiba: "I could take you three up anytime seperately, but 3 against 1 isn't that fair is it?"

"Then why don't we make it 3 on 3"

Everybody turned simutaneously to see where that voice had come from. Then behind Kaiba two figures appeared. When they reached close enough so they could see them Kaiba said: "You..."

"Yo" replied the first figure

Chapter 24: Chazz vs Bakura

"You" repeated Kaiba.

"Surprised?" replied the first figure. "Noς step aside we'll take care of them"

Kaiba: "What do you mean take care of them? You couldn't even scratch my one Blue Eyes White Dragon back then and those guys are defeating all 3 of them at once. What makes you think you have a chance?"

"He does" replied the first figure pointing at the second figure. "Now step aside. You're in our way."

Kaiba made a slight "tsk" and turned around to face the three monarchs again. To his surprise all three of his dragons had vanished.

"Is this all?" asked Thestalos

Kaiba seemed furious. "Let me take care of him. You two take care of the rest"

The two figures nodded and each headed for a monarch. Kuraz saw a figure coming closer to him.

"Nice to see you again, Kuraz The Monarch" said the man in a happy tone.

"You...I remember you. You are the one who gave me this wound." He lifted his armor and revealed a small hole at the side of his chest. "Who are you? What's your name?"

The man raised one of his cards and a mace appeared in his hand. "My name is Sin. I am here to kill you"

Meanwhile the second figure approached Keith and Pegasus. "Take him away from here, back to the base of the TSO" he said to Pegasus.

Pegasus simply nodded and left. Then the figure moved towards Caius and upon reaching in a close distance Caius spoke. "You are brave. I hope you are not a dissapointment, like they were"

The figure said nothing but activated a card and a sword appeared in his right hand. Without saying anything he leaped forward and charged at Caius. Caius barely managed to dodge, surprised at the speed of his opponent. The man continued landing blows and for a while all Caius did was dodge. "Good" said Caius. With a clap of his hands a black sowrd appeared in his hand as well and he started crossing blades with his opponent. They were evenly matched and they were battling for several minutes. Finally the figure managed to land a hit on Caius cutting Caius's outter rob in half.

"Not bad for a human" exclaimed Caius. "What is your name human? You have earned the right to say it"

The man raised his eyes and looked Caius straight in his eyes.

"Ace"

Meanwhile...

"Hold it right there"

Chazz turned around surprised and saw that Bakura had followed him.

Chazz: "You followed me?"

"Hello captain obvious. Now preapare to fight. Come forth: Mezuki, Goblin Zombie and Zombie Master"

Three ugly looking creatures came forth all facing Chazz.

"I hope you havent forgotten that I outrank you...number 8" grinned Bakura

"If you think that because you are the 6th and I am the 8th I will lose to you then you are so very wrong. I hope you havent forgotten that I am the stronger fighter in the entire TSO."

Bakura: "That might be true, but that also shows that your familiars are weak and thus you battle without them"

Chazz" We'll see"

He charged forward bare handed against Bakura's three monsters. Goblin Zombie charged straight at him while Mezuki came behind. Zombie Master just stood still whispering some words very fast. Chazz ignored him for the time being and rushed towards the remaining two monsters. Golbin Zombie reached him first and tried to slash him with it's sword but he evaded it. Mezuki came right after with an axe hit but he parried and delievered a strong right punch at the center of Mezuki's chest. Mezuki flinched but recovered quickly. GOblin Zombie wasted no time and tried to stab Chazz from behind. He failed and Chazz caught it's hand and directed it towards Mezuki. Mezuki jumped avoiding the hit and simutaneously Chazz released his grip on Goblin Zombie and jumped on it to gain height reaching to were Mezuki was. He avoided the hit Mezuki delivered and then he grabbed Mezuki's hand. He smashed his hand with a single punch and gained control over the monster's axe. He then hit Mezuki at full strength with the axe and just in time turned around to defend himself against the sword of Goblin Zombie. He waved the monster's sword away and buried the axe deep in it's chest. He paused to catch his breath and saw Bakura laughing.

"What is so funny?" he asked.

"Chazz,Chazz,Chazz. Strong and firm as always. But not so sharp. You foolishly attacked my two monsters, which I used as bait, totally ignoring my third. For that you shall pay"

Chazz realised that Bakura was right. He had completely forgoten about Zombie Master. He turned to face him and saw that he was still whispering something. He wasted no time and threw the axe he was holding towards him. Just as the axe pierced the creature's flesh Chazz could swear that he saw the creature laugh. It vanished in thin air and thick smoke appeared to where it was standing. When the smoke cleared Chazz narrowed his eyes to manage and see what was there. He saw a blue ugly looking creature holding a baby in it's hands. "Oh crap" he said.

"EXCACTLY" shouted Bakura. "Zombie Master's ability is to ressurect a fallen familiar, given the proper time. So now behold my ultimate monster. DARK NECROFEAR"

The creature dashed forward charging at Chazz. Chazz made a few steps behind. I can't beat that thing at my current state, I am tired from all the battles he thought. He reached for a card and activated it. "Ojama Knight come forth". The creature was wearing a silver armor and his eyes extended above it's suite. He was holding a shield in his left hand and a rusty iron sword in it's right hand. "Buy me some time pal". The knight nodded and charged at Dark Necrofear.

The creatures clashed and Dark Necofear started banging Ojama Knight's shield. The creature withstood the attacks but steadily losing his position due to the pressure. Dark Necrofear suddenly jumped behind opening the space between the two of them and the baby in it's hands started glooming in a dazing red colour. He threw the doll at Ojama Knight and in the same time Chazz shouted "NOW". Then many things happened at the same time. Ojama Knight threw his sword at Chazz, while an explosion took place when the baby came in contact with Ojama Knight. Then as fast as his legs could carry him Chazz dashed forward and stabbed Dark Necrofear, making it scream, a scream of terror that made him lose his balance and fall on his knees. He checked his bars and saw that his red was almost out. Gathering his remaining strength he got up.

"CURSE YOU" shouted Bakura. He leapt forward towards Chazz, while activating a card. A golden spear appeared in his hand and he almost stebbed Chazz, but he managed to evade it at the final momment. Bakura kept hitting and screaming at Chazz, but Chazz seemed to evade rather easily despite his condition.

"I am sorry Bakura but you are no match for me in close combat. Goodbye it was nice meeting you."

When Bakura attacked once again Chazz caught his spear and with his knee broke it in half. He then picked the front half and stabbed Bakura through the chest. Bakura was motionless for a second and then he caughed blood an with a puzzled look he fell on the ground lifeless...

Meanwhile at the Front Gate...

"Master their leader is back"

Shock saw that Leon was right. He could see Yugi fast approaching.

Shock: "Excellent. Let the battle begin, once again"

Chapter 25: The Fall Of The Leader

When Yugi reached the Front Gate he was glad to find out that Yusei and Jack were still alive. Barely though, but still alive.

"What happened here?" asked Yugi

Jack got back in his knees and helped Yusei do the same. They were both covered in cuts and bruises. Yugi saw that Jack blue bar was empty and his red bar was at 40%. Yusei was in a bit better shape having both his bars in 50%

"That guy" he said while pointing at Leon. "He defeated both us and most of our familiars bare handed without us even managing to scratch him. Something is really of about him."

"I see" said Yugi. He then quickly informed them about the incidents in the rare gate and about Witch_King's behavior. When he finished he turned to Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. "Please take care of him no matter what" he said to them pointing at Leon.
The creatures nodded.

"I ll help as well" cried Yusei. "Lend me your strength...ROAD WARRIOR"

A huge golden dressed mechanical creature arose from Yusei's card. "Road Warrior assist the two wizards with all your strength." He then said in lower voice. "I am counting on you"

"Understood, Master" replied the creature.

All three creatures charged at Leon with Dark Magician taking the lead. Leon sighed and said. "You never give up now, do you?"

He dashed forward so fast, it seemed as if he was flying. Dark Magician didn’t lose his calm and when Leon hit him he dodged and stroke him with his staff. Leon evaded and whispered something very fast and Dark Magician suddenly couldn't move. Leon attempted to punch him once more, but at the final moment Dark Magician Girl got between them and took the hit. "NOOOO, DARK MAGICIAN GIRL" shouted Dark Magician. Road Warrior opened fire, firing many missiles directed towards Leon. Dark Magician again saw him murmuring something and just before the missiles hit him they changed their curse and re-directed towards a nearby tree. Dark Magician still couldn't move and Leon once again punched at him, but Road Warrior with a fast move, got between them and shielded Dark Magician, while catching Leon by his hand. "Got you" he said. Leon smiled once again and replied "It is I who got you". With some more words, Road Warrior's arm exploded, making a tremendous noise. When the smoke cleared Dark Magician saw Leon's arm having literally gone through Road Warrior. With a face full of surprise, he pressed as hard as he could and broke free of his invisible chains. He abandoned the battle and flew back to Yugi. "I won't let you" Leon said calmly. Just as he approached Yugi, Leon murmured a few more words and his hand nails extended, piercing right through Dark Magician. Yugi saw his wizard fall, with eyes full of agony. He ran and caught him in the nick of time before he hit the floor. With a lot of effort Dark Magician said: "Yugi...shut...his...mouth...". After that he vanished and Yugi felt way too much pain and saw his bars decreasing dangerously.

The three men saw Shock clapping his hands in the back. "Excellent job Leon as always. Now please...KILL THEM"

Meanwhile in the Back Gate...

"Ace? That is a strong name human. Let us have a fair battle"

Ace didn't reply but instead he leapt forward charging at Caius once again. They continued slashing their weapons for a considerate amount of time.

Meanwhile Sin was easily overwhelming Kuraz, who was forced a couple of meters behind. "Curse you" he exclaimed as Sin's mace hit him in his right side. Kuraz leapt forward once again. He was fighting with two rounded swords, one in each hand, but Sin could easily predict and avoid his attacks. Sin dodged one of his stabs, and with a powerful right strike he hit Kuraz straight in the chest. The Monarch fell on his knees and Sin saw red boiling blood coming out of the wound he just delivered. "Sayonara, Kuraz The Monarch" said Sin and with a final strike he cut the bleeding Monarch in half. Just before he vanished he said in a low voice "You haven't seen the last of me Sin the Warrior". He then vanished, as every familiar that died did, and Sin realized that the monarchs were familiars as well. Well that brought a new question to the game. Who controlled them? Without wasting any time he hurried to Ace's and Kaiba's side. He decided to help Kaiba, who looked in a worse position than Ace. Thestalos saw him coming and released blue flames from his mouth towards him. Sin jumped, avoiding them and then charged at Thestalos. Kaiba shouted "Buy me some time" and after taking a few steps behind he began whispering something. Meanwhile, Ace was holding firmly against Caius, but he was starting to get tired. No choice, he thought. He jumped backwards and threw three of his cards at Caius. Three similar orange creatures appeared. "So that's your Guardians" pointed Caius. "Interesting". The three Batterymen AA smiled at Ace and charged forward

They surrounded Caius and attacked him together all at once. "Triangle Formation" shouted one of them. All three of them simultaneously released blue rays of electricity, which headed towards Caius. Caius jumped to avoid them but the rays changed direction and chased after him. He then dropped his sword and clapped his hands twice and the electricity vanished. At the same time Caius heard a voice saying "You are wide open now, Caius".. He turned around and saw Ace's sword being pushed towards him. He blocked it with his bare hands just before it stroke him. The first AA then appeared to his right and delivered a strong kick in it's side. Caius didn't budge. He pushed Ace and his sword behind and turned to face the AA, that had kicked him. But just as he was trying to clap his hands to cast a spell another AA appeared this time below him and grabbed his arm. He then said: "Self destruct activate"

Caius fought to release himself from the grip but the third AA came and grabbed his left hand.

Ace and the remaining AA lashed backwards and landed to the ground.

"1"

Caius screamed but his voice was covered by the sound of a huge explosion. Ace saw his red bar decreasing a bit, but he didn't mind that and searched for Caius with his look. When the smoke cleared he saw Caius standing firm, his armor quite damaged.

"Is that the best you can do, Ace the Human?"

Ace didn't mind his words and along with the remaining AA they charged forward.

Meanwhile Sin was fighting in equal grounds with Thestalos.

"You are not bad for a human" said Thestalos with a sarcastic tone.

"And you are not bad for a familiar" replied Sin.

Thestalos seemed surprised at Sin's statement but said nothing. He clipped his fingers and two giant fire cannons appeared in front of him. With another clip they launched 2 fireballs straight at Sin. Sin took a step back and activated a card: "Beckoning Darkness". Two tiny devil looking creatures appeared and each one collided with a fireball making them disappear. Then Sin dashed forward and destroyed the two cannons with two well timed swings of his mace.
Thestalos made a slight *tsk* and jumped behind. Sin didn’t stop and charged at him. He swung his mace fast but Thestalos kept dodging.

Meanwhile Ace and the remaining AA were gaining advantage over Caius. His wound was deeper than it seemed. AA charged forward and sent a bolt of electricity towards Caius but he evaded it and replied with a bolt of black energy. AA easily avoided it and attacked once again but suddenly he stopped moving. Ace paused to look at him and without a warning AA’s head poped off. Ace felt a jolt of pain as his familiar perished and he turned confused to Caius.

“What did you do?”

“My ability is telekinesis. That shock I sent was just an illusion to get my hold on him. And when I did”

He stopped talking and pretended to hold something with both hands and then by moving those hands away from one another, destroyed it.

“You demon…”

Ace was ready to charge forward when he heard Kaiba’s voice from behind.

“THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME SOME TIME BOYS. NOW IT’S PAYBACK TIME”

He nodded for them to retreat and after meeting Sin’s look Ace fell back. Sin did so as well.

Then Kaiba stood up and took a step forward. Thestalos looked at Caius and at his nod, he charged at Kaiba. Kaiba lifted his hand up revealing a single card.

“ARRIVE NOW AND BRING DESPAIR… BLUE EYES ULTIMATE DRAGON”

The air around Kaiba changed. It suddenly became vicious, sending Thestalos a couple of feet behind. And then just as suddenly as the air had turned crazy it calmed down and the sky became peaceful again. And there behind Kaiba was standing a ferocious three headed white dragon. For the first time the two monarchs seemed a little scared. The dragon left a tremendous roar tearing some nearby trees apart.

“Attack them” ordered Kaiba.

The dragon leapt forward charging at the two monarchs. They reacted immediately and both sent a bolt of energy towards the huge dragon. The dragon replied with two shots of vicious white energy that destroyed the opponent’s bolts in mid air. He then launched two more, each headed towards a monarch. Caius managed to change the direction of the bolt with his telekinesis but Thestalos wasn’t that lucky and the bolt hit him head on.

“C…cu…rse….you….” he whispered before vanishing.

“Weak, murmured Kaiba. Now there is only one monarch left”

Caius didn’t seem to care about Thestalos’ death. He jumped and charged at the dragon. They were fighting for several minutes both trying to find an edge to deliver a fatal blow.

Ace: “Kaiba, I have an idea”

After speaking with him in low voice, Kaiba replied.

“Pff, I don’t like it kid but I’ll do it because you saved my life”



Kaiba stood behind and closed his eyes. Ace realized he was speaking with his familiar. Moments later Kaiba opened his eyes and nodded at Ace.

Meanwhile Caius charged forward and with a well timed stab he got the dragon’s heart. The dragon didn’t make any attempt to flee but rather hold onto Caius as strong as he could with his hands. Caius seemed puzzled.

“Let me go your freak”

Despite losing lot’s of blood the dragon didn’t let go.

“Playtime is over Caius. Now go to hell”

Caius eyes widened when he realized that Ace was charging at him from behind the huge dragon. He couldn’t do anything but watch as Ace’s sword was pierced through his chest. He let go of his sword and fell down to the ground his face facing the dirt.

“You…..” he said.

The dragon disappeared and Kaiba, Ace and Sin approached the monarch.

The monarch gathered all his strength and laughed as hard as he could.

“What is so funny?” asked Sin.

The monarch didn’t speak but he reached for his cape tearing it apart.
It was Kaiba’s eyes which widened this time.

“What is the meaning of this?” he said in a slightly scared tone “Aren’t you the leader of the exiled ones?”

“Indeed I am”

“Then…why is the number 2 written in your back?”

With a last smile Caius vanished leaving nothing but ash behind him…

Season 3: Chapter 26: Goodbye


CASTLE FRONT GATE:

Shut his mouth? What did Dark Magician mean with this phrase, thought Yugi. Yusei and Jack had once again charged against Leon by themselves. That should buy me some time. He activated a card and a pair of glasses appeared. He wore them and zoomed in on Leon. And then he saw it. Every time Leon attacked his lips moved. That's what he meant.

Yugi: "Yusei, Jack hold on a bit longer"

They both nodded and charged back at Leon.

"Come on and help me fight, Kuriboh."

A tiny creature appeared next to Yugi. "Hey there bud. I have a favor to ask"

Kuriboh jumped happily around Yugi. Yugi then activated Monster Reborn and a sword appeared in his hand.

"Now Kuriboh, I am counting on you"

Meanwhile at the Back Gate...

Kaiba: "Peg take Keith back to the barracks. We will enter the castle."

Peg nodded in agreement. Kaiba then turned at the two men that saved him. "Well looks like I owe you my life men. My name is Seto Kaiba. Vice Captain of the TSO"

"Sin" said the first man

"And my name is Ace"

Kaiba: "Also I ll have to apologize about the incident in the waterfall."

"Don't sweat it" replied Ace

"So what's the plan now? We just enter the castle like this? Your blue bar is at 10%. You can call up to 1 monster maximum" said Sin

"I know but we ain't got a choice" replied Kaiba

"Any reinforcments coming this way?" asked Ace

"No I doubt it. Everybody has his own battles"

"I see. No choice then we are busting right in." said Sin.

"Fine by me"

Ace nodded to reveal he is ok with the plan.

"One last question though. How did you become so strong in only about a month?"

Ace smiled and turned to Sin. "I had a good teacher"

Everyone laughed and started walking towards the entrance of the castle

Meanwhile inside the castle...

Granmarg was sitting with his arms crossed in a little table. Next to him two monarchs were playing chess.

Granmarg: "Looks like Caius and the others lost"

A monarch in green armor replied: "Serves them right, for being so cocky"

"Don't speak like that Raiza. They were our alies."

Raiza ignored him and continued playing chess. Granmarg raised his eyes and saw the man named Doe sitting sleepily in a nearby chair. He rose to his feet and approached him.

Granmarg: "You don't speak much do you?"

Doe raised his eyes but said nothing.

"You look strong, Doe-san. Why is a man like you following Shock's orders?"

Doe raised his shoulders as if saying "I don't know"

Suddenly the door of the hallway bust open and a man in Gray armor bust in. With a smile in his lips he said.

"The first enemies arrived at the Back Entrance. It's go time"

Meanwhile at The Front Gate...

Yugi charged at Leon full speed. They began exchanging blows. Leon murmured something and Yugi's sword left his hand.

"KURIBOH NOW" shouted Yugi.

The little creature jumped from behind Yugi and landed on Leon's face. Leon seemed surprised and tried to push it away.

"Jack, Yusei do it"

They both nodded to reveal that they understood and with a few quick steps they stabbed Leon in the chest. Cold blood started running out of his body and he dropped to his knees. With his remaining strength he pushed Kuriboh away and turned at Shock. "Sorry my master, I have failed you."And with that he collapsed on the ground.

Shock seemed deeply uninterested at Leon's death. He started clapping. "Good job Yugi. You are not so bad after all. I will wait for you inside my castle."

And with those words he vanished in thin air. Yugi dropped his weapon and rushed at Mobius while Yusei and Jack sat down to catch their breath.

"Mobius, Mobius can you hear me?"

The monarch blinked his eyes and slowly turned his head towards Yugi.

"Υugi....I feel no regret....please....stop...S...hock..."

"I understand, my friend. Now rest. You deserve it"

"Goodbye, Yugi"

Yugi closed Mobius' eyes and got up. "Can you two still fight?"

"I sure can" replied Yusei. "Although I ain't sure about Jack here."

"Nah I am fine. Let's go kick that bastard's ass."

"Alright then. Let's go avenge Mobius"

Meanwhile at the Rear Entrance...

"Finally I am back here. Looks like everyone is gone. Man that Bakura sure did me some real damage. Anyways I must hurry inside, the others may need my help"

???: "You over there wait"

Chazz turned around to see where the voice had come from. He saw a man running towards him

Chazz: "Who might you be?"

Man: "I am looking for three men. Their names are Redgar, Ace and Winduct."

Chazz relaxed. "Thank god you are on our side. I know the man named Winduct and I ve heard about the other two as well. My name is Chazz. I am part of the TSO. We are fighting against Shock"

Man: "What?"

Chazz: "Let me explain the situation"

After Chazz gave the man enough information the man nodded to show that he understood.

Man: "Well my name is Aris. Now let's go in there and save my friends"

Chazz nodded and they both headed for the castle...

Inside the Castle...

Shock was standing in the hallway. In front of him lay his remaining soldiers. "There are 3 people on the back gate, 2 at the rear and 3 at the main gate. Delg, Witch King and Panos head to the Main Gate. Raiza and Doe head to the Back gate and you two *he pointed at the two remaining monarchs* head to the rare gate."

Everyone nodded and left.

Shock: "The real battle begins now...."

Chapter 27: The Exiled Number 1: Delg

In the back of the Castle...

"Looks like we are in. I wonder if there will be a welcoming party" said Kaiba

"Careful what you wish for" replied a voice.

Two figures jumped in front of them blocking their way to the inner castle.

"The Exiled Number 5: Raiza! Nice to meet you all"

"Ha! Number 5? We defeated number 2 and number 3 what makes you think you have a choice against us?" said Kaiba in a sarcastic tone.

Raiza said nothing but instead he pointed at the man next to him. "I have him with me!"

Ace's jaw dropped. He recognised that man. He was "Doe?"

The man named Doe raised his head to see Ace "We meet again. Last time you may won, but it won't happen again." Doe paused for a second and then resumed.

"Raiza, he is the Vice Captain of the TSO be careful. Although his bars are almost empty he is still a threat. That man *he pointed at Ace* is mine. As for the last one...I don't need him but I doubt you can handle both him and the Vice Captain so I ll take of him as well. So, let's go"

Raiza laughed maniacly and jumped at Kaiba. A green sword appeared in his hand. "DIEEEE" Kaiba evaded the hit at the last momment.

With my blue bar at 10% all I can summon is one more monster. Or maybe a weapon?

"Go, Monster Reborn". The familiar sword appeared in his hand. He leapt forward and charged at Raiza. Meanwhile Doe was standing still staring at Ace.

"Come at me Ace. Let's see who is truly the best"

Αce: "One thing I do not understand. Why are you supporting Shock?"

Doe moved his shoulders "Why not? I don't really care what happens to this world and he pays me well. That should be enough"

Ace: "And what about the assault on DGA?"

Doe: "Oh that? He just wanted to test the powers of that Winduct kid. Don't ask me why though. And on top of that we could test his transporting device in case of emergency. And as you can see it worked. I am still surprised that you won though. So what do you say? If you defeat me again I ll let you in on some of Shock's secrets. A way to defeat him."

Ace: "I don't get why I have to fight you? Since you only care about money I bet the TSO could give you more than Shock to ally with us"

Doe: "Who said my motive was money?"

Ace: "Then what is your motive?"

Doe smiled. "Can't you tell? I get the opportunity to fight some of the strongest duelists ever. That's my utltimate goal. Defeat Yugi the strongest Duelist so I can become the Knig of Games..."

In the rear side of the castle...

"We meet again, Mr Aris"

Aris stopped moving upon hearing the mysterious voice. "You are that monarch. You still insist on getting in my way?"

"I am afraid these are my orders. I have no choice."

Then they appeared. Granmarg was not alone. There was another monarch with him. He was smaller that Granmarg and was wearing a half white-half green armor.

"Let me introduce you to my little brother. The Exiled Number 7: Zaborg"

"Hey there" said Zaborg in a happy tone. "Don't know why but we have to stop you here. So bring it on"

Aris turned to Chazz: "You take care of the Zaborg guy. I ll deal with Granmarg"

"Got it" replied Chazz.

Chazz leapt forward charging at Zaborg. Zaborg stumbled and Chazz punched him in the face.

"OUCH" cried Zaborg.

"That was mean. You ll pay for that" He murmured something and an Axe appeared in his hand. This time he charged at Chazz. With a battle cry he slashed against him. Chazz avoided and with a well timed jump he positioned himself behind the monarch. Right as Zaborg was turning to face him he kicked the axe out of the Monarch's hand and punched him in the chest sending him flying.

"I am the strongest fighter among the TSO. Don't go against me with meele weapons"

Zaborg recovered quickly. "Oh ok then. Thank you for the tip." He murmured something again and a shotgun appeared in his right hand. "Let's get this party jumping"

Meanwhile Granmarg was battling with Aris' GB Laquari on equal grounds. Laquari delivered a strong left punch only to be blocked by Granmarg's fist. The battle went like this for several minutes. Finally Granmarg found an opening and with a strong punch that pierced through Laquari's body he defeated Aris' familiar.

"Not bad" complimented Aris.

"Thank you. Your battle skills are excellent as well. So which familiar is next?"

"I am afraid I will end the battle with this next one. COME FORTH! GLADIATOR BEAST GYZARUSSSSS!"

Meanwhile at the Castle front...

"Is that all?"

"Wow you really went overboard there Delg" said Panos in a happy tone.

The monarch named Delg had bare handed defeated Yugi, Jack and Yusei.

"Wow this guy is even stronger that the buttler" said Yusei.

Yugi gathered his strength and got up. So did Yusei. Jack didn't seem to be able to stand.

"Who are you?"

The man named Delg got serious and turned to face them once again.

"My name is Delg. I am the Exiled: Number 1"

"Man, he is the strongest Exiled?" asked Yusei

Delg made a slight pff. "I just said I am number 1 I didn't say I am the strongest"

"Come on now Mr. Delg. You are just being modest" said Panos.

"I speak the truth kid. I am strong yes. But not the strongest."

Yugi: "That's reassuring. I'd be worried If I had to go against the strongest Exiled at my current state. Yusei got any energy left?"

"Sure thing"

"Then let's fight! Come forth... BUSTER BLADER"

"Aid us... NITRO WARRIOR"

The two monsters appeared before their masters.

Yugi: "We are counting on you"

The creatures nodded and charged at Delg.

Delg: "Oi you two are you willing to help me or not?"

Witch King: "We don't battle. We are weak. I don't know why master Shock doesn't understand that"

Delg: "You, weak? Don't screw with me kid. Anyways I ll be back in a bit. Looks like things here are getting interesting. Two against one? Not that fair. In that case I shall call my old friend. Steelswarm Roach!!!

A robotic insect appeared next to Delg. "Delg old bud you need help?"

"Yeah I do it's two against one"

Roach: "Ha! Let's do this"

What is this monster, thought Yugi. I've never seen it before...

Yugi/Yusei/Delg/Roach: "LET'S DO THIS!!!"

Chapter 28: The Power Of Will

Castle: Back Gate:

Kaiba was struggling against Raiza. Raiza didn't have the edge yet but the fact that Kaiba was tired from the previous battles surely gave him an edge. Despite that he kept fighting with all he had. Meanwhile Sin and Ace were both fighting against tha man named Doe.

Doe: "Burn them down, Red Eyes Wyvern"

Ace: "In that case I ll call the huge guns! Come forth Batteryman Industrial strength"

"Gargonith Darksworn Dragon" said Sin

The three monsters despite being big, could easily fit in the building without destroying it

"Get em boy" said Doe in a low voice

The creature jumped forward releasing hot green flames. The Battryman used on of his swords to sallow the fire and then in an instant he released the same fire with the other sowrd, while Gargonith unleashed a ferocius fireball at the same time. The wyvern didn't see those attacks coming and took it head on. When the smoke cleared the creature had vanished. Doe was standing still clappings his hands, a smile etched in his face. "Not bad. This could be fun. Now..follow me"

He activated another card and a ferocius black dragon appeared. The dragon flew high, Doe on it's back and broke out of the city walls.

Ace: "Sin stay here help Kaiba, I ll take care of him"

Sin: "But he is too strong."

"But Kaiba needs you more than I do" he said pointint at Kaiba. Sin saw that he was on his knees trying to catch his breath. He turned to Gargonith and told it to follow and help Ace and then he charged at Raiza. Good luck Ace. With that power, you have a chance of winning, I believe in you.

Castle: Middle Hallway

"Blast him away Gyzarus"

Gyzarous delivered a well timed right punch at Granmarg send him a few meters back. Granmarg kept his balance though and charged at the beast.The two of them clashed and the ground shoke. Meanwhile Chazz was running to evade the bullets croming from Zaborg's shotgun. Finally one bullet finally found him in the leg. He screamed from the pain and fell on his knees. Zaborg smiled and turned to Granmarg and Aris. "Oi brother I defeated my opponent what should I do?"

Without taking his eyes from Gyzarous GRanmarg answered "Do as you like I do not care if he leaves or dies"

Zaborg smiled and turned back to Chazz. He aimed him with the gun.

*Bang*

Castle: Dungeon

Shock reached his destination. He grabbed a chair and placed it in front of a cell. The place looked like a prison.

"Let us go you fiend" shouted a woman's voice from inside the cell.

"MissTaylor" replied Shock. "I will be the ruler of this world and your world So just sit here and wait to be rescued by your friends. I will give you details on the battle to keep yo informed"

Another man from inside the cell charged at the railings. "Let us out"

"Chazz, let me fill you in on the situation. 7 of my men are defending the castle. 8 of your friends invaded. Well I am sad to inform you that 2 of your friends are down already....

Castle: Front Entrance

"Superb sword usage"

"I do not need comments from you" said Buster Blader.

The creature was fighting against Delg for quite some time now, but Delg seemed as if he was just toying with him. Nitro Warrior was at the same excact position. The opponent's just seemed too strong.

Delg: "Playtime is over"

He drew his sword, a black edged one handed-embraced longsword with a pearl at it's edge, and with two swings, which were faster than lightining, he slayed the two creatures.

"Indeed an amazing feet Delg" said Witch King in a happy tone

"I'd appriciate it if you helped me instead of just praising me"

Witch King: "But you don't seem to need any help"

Delg: "For now that is"

Yugi took a step forward before speaking. "I am not about to lose to some monarch. I am Yugi Muto the strongest duelist to ever lose. If you kids think you can win me you are fooled. I will now show you true power."

He drew a card and released it. A few momments passed but nothing happened.

Yugi: "What's going on?"

Delg: "I'd advice you to look at your card"

Nick looked at his card and his face filled with horror. "How did this happen" he asked.
I cut the card when you drew it. "But I saw nothing"

"I do not doubt you are the toughest duelist to ever live. But after the battles you fought you are tired and don't have the strength to defeat me"

"Watch how you talk to Yugi" replied a voice

Yugi and Yusei both turned around at the same time to see where the voice had come from. Jack was standing there with one arm resting on the wall.

Yusei: "Jack you are ok thank god. Hurry up and leave this place. We'll cover you"

Jack: "SHUT UP! I'll handle things now"

Although tire, Jack seemed determined. He closed his eyes and whispered: "Burning Soul"

THe ground shook and instaly his blue bar emptied. The ground opened in two and from inside a demonic creature appeared. It was a Red and Black Dragon

Witch King finally seemed interested in the matter, while Delg seemed to lose his coolness, although he regained it fast enough.

Jack: "Now, Red Deamon's Dragon...please win this"

And with that he collapsed

Castle: Middle Hallway

Aris: "YOU FIEND! OI MAN OPEN YOUR EYES. ARE YOU OK?"

Zaborg: "Don't bother he is already dead"

Suddenly Aris' deck started glowing. Without a warning a card popped out and vanished in thin air.

"What was that? What did you do? " asked Aris

The two monarchs didn't answer but Zaborg semmed panicked.

Zaborg: "Oi brother don't tell me..."

Granmarg: "Indeed that. One of the originals activated his dragon. I must leave Zaborg to find out what happened. You stay here and finish the other one as well"

Zaborg: "Ok brother"

Castle: Dungeon:

Shock: "Oopsy looks like Jack ain't dead after all. As expected from TSO Number 4. Can't say the same for your old man though, he said pointing at Chazz."

Chazz looked confused. "What do you mean old man?"

Shock started laughing. An evil laugh. A satanic laugh. His laugh would ring in Chazz' ears for years and years to come...

Chapter 29: Madness

"Excellent" whispered Witch King.

Steelswarm Roach didn't seem to care much about Jack's dragon and it charged forward.

Delg: "YOU IDIOT!!! HE IS TOO STRONG STAY BACK"

But it was too late. Just as the monster swung it's sword against Jack's dragon the dragon released a heat wave instantly vanishing the monster.

Yugi and Yusei turned to Jack who had collapsed.

Yusei: "What do we do?"

Yugi: "Leave it to me! Come forth! Winged Dragon Guardian of The Fortress"

A blue small dragon appeared at Yugi's command. The dragon took Jack on it's back and vanished from their sight. Yugi and Yusei turned back to the battle. Delg was standing still, unsure about his next move. The ferocius dragon roared and charged forward. He released another fireball targeted directly at Delg but just before it hit, it split in to and passed around him.

Delg: "Thank god you made it in time. One more second and I would be toast"

When the smoke cleared Yugi and Yusei saw another figure standing there. It was wearing a brown armor. In his right shoulder the number 8 was written in caligraphical letters.

"I will deal with them" said the figure. "You 3" he said pointing at Witch King, Panos and Delg "Go and help Zaborg at the rear site of the castle"

Delg nodded and left immidiately.

Strange, thought Yugi. That guy was only number 8, meaning the weakest monarch. Why did Delg listen to him blindly?

Yugi's mind travelled back, remembering what Delg had said.

Maybe he meant that this guy was stronger?

"Oi Yusei. Be careful I have a bad feeling about this guy"

Yusei nodded.

Granmarg: "Ok then fellas, I think it's time to start this battle"

CASTLE: DUNGEON

Chazz: "What..what do you mean old man?"

Shock: "Meh, I guess it's alright to tell you now! You see the one's opposing me are called The Sacred Ones, TSO for short. They are elite duelists that once lived in the real world and came here for the sole purpose of keeping the balance in this world. They are 12 in total. "

Chazz: "Still I do not understand. My father is alive and well back in the real world"

Shock: "How naive Chazzy. By old man, I mean grandfather, not father"

Chazz's eyes widened. Shock laughed maniacly once again.

"EXCACTLY! YOUR GRANDFATHER IS, OR TO BE EXCACT, WAS ONE OF THE TSO. TSO NUMBER 8: CHAZZ PRINESTON...."

Castle: Rear Side

Aris: "Speak you worm, what happened? Where did that guy go? And what did you do to this guy?" he said pointing at Chazz

Zaborg: "My brother is gone now. Forget about him. As for this guy...you'll have the same fate in a few minutes"

He charged forward. Aris' closed his fists angrily. Just when Zaborg was close enough to him he raised his right hand and brought it down to Zaborg's chest with full strength delivering an inhuman punch, that sent the monarch flying.

Zaborg: "Wh..wh..at power.."

Aris: "Since you won't speak you are useless to me. Gyzarous, finish him off"

Gyzarous leapt forward and shot a beam at Zaborg.

Zaborg: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Zaborg's voice was lost in the shock....

Castle: Back Gate

Kaiba: "Sin take the right side I'll take the left"

Sin saw that Kaiba could barely stand but he said nothing cause he feared he would hurt his pride. So he just obeyed and leapt forward against the monarch. Sin had noticed that Raiza wasn't the strongest fighter, but he was very smart. He moved and dodged and hit with accuracy that could be deadly if you weren't paying attention. He activated his pitch black sword and clashed with the monarch. Kaiba swung as well but the monarch made a twist and evaded the hit. Again Kaiba and Sin charged at him but again he parried. The battle went on for several minutes. Finally Kaiba seemed too tired to catch up to Raiza and Raiza managed to stab him in his right hand side. Κaiba touched the wound but showed no emotion. He fell to one knee though, unable to continue fighting. "I hate to say it but I cannot fight in this condition" he said.

Sin: "It's ok, I ll take him. Come forth, Jain Darksworn Paladin. Jain buy me some time"

Jain nodded and attacked Raiza. Sin hurried to Kaiba's side and helped him get up.

Sin: "Can you walk?"

"Barely" replied Kaiba.

Sin: "Ok then sit here until I finish that guy"

Kaiba: "Ha, you sound confident kid! What was your name again?"

Sin: "Sinakis, but call me Sin"

Kaiba: "You're a brave man Sin"

Sin smiled and hurried to Jain's side. "Master, is Mr Kaiba alright?" asked Jain in a worried tone

Sin: "He'll live. Now let's take down this guy"

Jain: "Yessir"

Castle: Dungeon

Chazz: "Chazz Prineston...my grandfather? Are you serious? And you bastard, you killed him. LET ME OUTTA HERE"

Shock: "Calm down Chazzy looks like one of my men went down for a change. Hmph he was the weakest one so it's ok I guess. But still that Aris guy sure is a tough bastard. I am very curious to see how he deals with Delg. Delg is a beast you know.

Chazz: "Shut your blabbing and let us out of here"

MissTaylor stood up and reached for Chazz "Relax Chazz, we can't do anything right now. But do not worry have faith our friends will pull this through." She left Chazz and she turned to Shock. "Since you like to go in detail why don't you tell us all about the ongoing battle?"

Shock: "Oh that would be my pleasure. You see the TSO are the ones protecting this land. Their opponents were my elite squad, namely The Exiled Ones. 8 members all very strong fighters. The TSO attacked from three sites. Front, back and rear. In the front gate they sent their leader Yugi Muto and Numbers 2 and 3 Fudo Yusei and Jack Atlas. There waiting for them was me, my buttler Leon and my fourth monarch Mobius. Well they managed to kill Leon and Mobius was a traitor so I killed him. The good part was in the other two sides though. In the rear I sent my 8th monarch Granmarg and two of my underlings to face up against 4 of the TSO. Number 5 Marik Ishtar, Number 6 Yami Bakura, Number 7 Yuki Judai and Number 8 Chazz Prineston. Your grandfather Chazzy. Well what the TSO didn't know was that Bakura and Marik were in my side. But he bastards managed to kill both Bakura and Marik forcing Granmarg and my two men to retreat. Judai was also injured and abandonded the battlefield. And for the most exciting part, the battle of the back gate was between the Exiled Number 3 Thestalos, The Exiled Leader, Number 2 Caius and The Exiled Number 6 Kuraz against Vice Captain of the TSO Number 2 Seto Kaiba, The Game Creator Number 9 Maximilian Pegasus and Number 10 Bandit Keith. I thought we would win the battle but two guys named Sin and Ace appeared killing my 3 soldiers. Pegasus and Keith retreated because of their injuries. And so the TSO entered my castle. 8 brave soldiers all ready to give up their lives to save their friend. Yugi Muto. Fudo Yusei. Jack Atlas. Chazz Prineston. Aris. Sinakis. Ace and Seto Kaiba. This castle is their final destination. They will all die by the hands of my soldiers and so will you.

Chazz: "Ha, looks like my pops will be avenged Shock! You ain't got a chance against us"

Shock: "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"INCOLENT FOOL. YOU STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND. ALL THESE BATTLES ARE JUST FOR MY AMUSEMENT. I COULD JUST GO OUT THERE AND KILL EVERYBODY. DON'T YOU GET IT? THE WAR IS OVER FAR BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN"

And Shock continued laughing, his voice echoing in the dark corridors of the castle's dungeon...

Chapter 30: The Dark Dragon and The Ultimate Monarch

Castle: Front Gate

"I thought I ordered you to leave"

The monarch spoke to the two men behind him.

W.King: "I am sorry it is the master's orders for us to stay here. Actually Panos you can go if you want."

WKing reached down and whispered to Panos' ear: "Be careful not to use 'that' power in front of anyone though. Not even the master knows about it"

Panos nodded and hastily left. Witch King smiled, a wicked smile, before turning his head back in the battle.

Granmarg leapt forward and charged at the huge dragon. The dragon didn't move but instead breathed flames at Granmarg. GRnmarg just pushed the flames away with his left hand and continued charging forward

Yugi: "Yusei! Let's help Jack's monster"

Yusei said nothing but he closed his eyes. When he opened them they had a light blue colour.

"Clear Mind" he said.

His body engulfed in blue flames, which slowly grew stronger.

Yusei: "Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Take flight: Stardust Dragon"

Somewhere else...

"Oi brother your deck is glowing"

"Indeed it is. We must hurry"

Back in the Front Gate...

Granmarg: "Two of the five legendary dragons together? This is bad. Very bad indeed"

Yugi: "Don't be reckless Yusei. Your blue bar is empty now, you ll run out of energy soon"

Yusei: "I'll be ok. Now Stardust Red Deamon's Dragon, ATTACK"

Granmarg: "Oi you over there, get here and help me fight them"

WKing: "I am sorry I don't fig.."

Granmarg: "Do I look like an idiot? I know everything you plan boy. Now unless you want the master to know help me fight those dragons"

WKing's jaw dropped. He seemed panicked. "What do you mean everything I plan?"

Granmarg: "You know Shock observes us right now? I could just spill out your secrets and he'd kill you right away. So what is your descicion?"

Wking: "If what you say is true, then hasn't he heard what you said just now?"

Granmarg: "No"

WKing: "How do you know?"

Granmarg: "Don't underestimate me kid. My number means nothing. Now help me here"

WKing made a slight *tsk* and activated a card. A kunai appeared in his hands. He dropped his cape, leaving him only with his shirt and he reached next to Granmarg.

"Let's do this, monarch"

They both charged forward at tramendous speed. "I ll take Stardust" said Granmarg. WKing nodded. The two dragons flew towards their oppoonents at full speed. Fire leapt out of the dragons' mouths but the two men avoided it. WKing threw his Kunai at Stardust catching it's leg. Stardust raised himself up in the sky pulling the man with him.

"Damt" shouted Wking

The battles continued for a long time. They were tramendous. Humen vs Dragons.
Something like this never happened again in history. After some thime though the drasons seem to have the edge. Blood was running hot out of WKing's right leg and left eye while Granmarg's armor had several crackings.

Yugi: "Stay with me Yusei. We almost won"

Yusei had almost lost conciousness. He was hanging from Yugi's shoulder during the entire fight.

WKing: "Shit, looks like they meet their expectations. I guess we have no choice but to retreat for now. Let's go monarch"

WKing started leaving. He glanced back to see if the monarch was following him, but surprisingly he was standing still. "What are you doing fool? They'll trample you."

Granmarg didn't respond.

"Well I warned you. Later! Try not to die"

And just like that he vanished in the inner castle.

Yugi: "Coward! But what worries me is the one that's still here"

The moanrch was standing perfectly still. Suddenly he opened his eyes. In a low steady tone he said:

"LIMIT RELEASE"

The air pressure around him increased dramatically. Red energy flowed outwards pushing the dragons back. His body seemed to grow bigger. Yugi couldn't realise if he actually bigger or not. Finally the air became normal again. Yugi noticed that in his arm, where the number 8 was written the first top was removed and all that remained in his arm was the below half spelling 0.

Granmarg spoke in a voice far different, deeper that his previous one.

"Let me introduce myself. I am the monarch Number 0: Despair. The strongest monarch. Now come at me"

Castle: Dungeon

Shock: "Ouch, looks like Granmarg is mad now. Well you can kiss the two dragons goodbye. All that's left is 3 more now."

MissTaylor: "What are you talking about? Why don't you explain what happened after the TSO entered the castle?"

Shock clapped his hands

"That would be an interesting conversation topic MissTaylor. Well you see after your party won the battles outside the castle I had my soldiers placed inside the castle ambush them. In the front gate Yugi,Ysei and Jack had to face up against Delg, the first monarch and my two friends Panos and WItch King. In the back gate Mr Kaiba along with Sin and Ace had to face monarch number 5 raiza and a man named John Doe, while in the rear side Mr Aris alongside your pops Chazz had to face against Number 8 Granmarg and Number 7 Zaborg"

MissTaylor: "Sounds to me as if you don't want to get your hands dirty Shock"

"Yes, I do not want to...yet"

Castle: Back Gate

Sin: "Garoth come forward"

Garoth appeared next to Sin and the injured Jain.

"3 on 1 huh? That aint that fair mister"

Garoth: "You are not the ones to be talking about playing fair. Now master we' ll distract him do your stuff."

Sin: "Thanks Gaorth"

The two knights charged at Raiza. Why isn't their master attacking? thought Raiza. He must be planning something. Anyways I ll finish these two off and then get to their master. Garoth swung his staff against the moanrch but he cleverly avoided. He tried to stab him in return but Jain reacted fast and shielded the hit. He then pressed on attempting to slash the moanrch but he shielded with his left glove. Garoth found the opportunity and he dropped his staff at the monarch. The monarch flinched and Jain stepped forward and stabbed him in the chest.

Raiza: "Y...you..."

He tried to remain concius but it was obvious the pain was unbearable. He landed on one knee, spitting blood from his mouth. "I..I can't fail...". His memories passed before his eyes

Jain: "What he is still alive?"

Garoth: "Sin are you ready?"

"1 more minute"

The moanrch got up and with speed of light reached to the two fighters instantly stabbing Jain right where his heart was.

Garoth: "JAINNNNNNNNNNNN"

Gaorth attempted to push away Raiza, but the monarch evaded his hand and by ducking under him he managed to stab him in the knee. Garorth screamed from the pain and Raiza found the opportunity to chop off his head with a well timed strike. Stumbling, Raiza charged at Sin

Sin: "Too late monarch, chekmate"

Sin got up. He was dead serious, more like mad than serious actually and was holding a single card in his hand.

"Prepare to pay for what you did to Garoth, Jain and Kaiba"

The air pressure around him changed. Vicius winds started blowing. A black wind, a wind that smelled death. Raiza stopped dead. It was as if he was stunned.

"Oi mighty creator ruler of Darkness, I call upon thee, to help me in this fight. DESCEND FROM THE ABYSS: JUDGEMENT DARK DRAGON"

The air suddenly slowed down and a single thunder came down, piercing the roof of the building. And then when the smoke finally cleared Raiza's eyes were filled with horror. Because right there in front of him, stood the biggest, strongest,mightiest creature he had ever seen...

Chapter 31: The Prince


Several years ago...

"Oi oi that's not fair brother. You know I can't swim that well. How am I supposed to get to you?"

The man in the other side of the lake answered: "There is no thing a man can't do. You can do it if you try hard enough. Now come on start swiming Raiza"

"Gramarg, you are a monster."

Suddenly a shout was heard nearby.

Granmarg: " That's Zaborg's voice. Hurry up, let's go Raiza"

Raiza nodded and turned around to run at his house, only to see Granmarg already running in front of him. How did he do that? he thought. Momments later they reached their home only to see a man holding Zaborg unconcious' body in his arms.

The man spoke in a low tone: "Hello there fellas. I've been expecting you"

Granmarg: "Who are you? What did you do to Zaborg?"

"Oh this guy? He is ok don't worry, he is just sleeping. Now as for me, my name is Shock. I take it you are Granmarg the rock monarch and Raiza the storm monarch, while this fella here is Zaborg the thunder monarch?"

Raiza: "How do you know all this? What is your bussiness with us?"

Shock: "Well, what I want is your help"


Present...

Castle: Back gate

"I am sorry I couldn't protect you brothers...I am sorry I couldn't protect you...Blaze"

The monarch's last word ehoced through Sin's ears. Wasn't Blaze the name of the man Ace was trying to rescue?

"Judgment Dragon stop the attack."

The dragon obeyed and let go of Raiza's half-dead body. Sin approached the monarch. He still had palm, although very weak.

"Can you hear me? What was it about Blaze. What do you know about him?"

Several years ago...

The three monarch brothers and Shock were sitting in the table inside the monarchs' house. The walls were painted white, whith different paintings and pictures on them.

"If what you are saying is true human, we must take action immidiately. We must find the five remaining monarchs and regroup."

Shock: "Do not be hasty. The time is not yet upon us and I might be wrong, although I doubt it"

Raiza: "How old is he right now?"

"He is just 8"

The smallest monarch, Zaborg spoke. "He is around my age. Well, analogically."

Granmarg: "That means we have ten years to prepare for his arrival. And you know where he is?"

Shock: "Indeed I do. He is in another dimension currently. As you know the Galaxy consists of 4 dimensions. We are the fourth one, the biggest one. The remaining three are called Earth(the third dimension), Edolas(the second dimension) and Zero(the first dimension). The young prince is currently on the second dimension, in a place called Neo Domino City. I will get there and see him growing and when the time is right I will bring him here. You know what to do."

Raiza: "Indeed. Find the remaining monarchs and wait for the prince's arrival..."

Present...

In the Dungeon...

"Well looks like Raiza is down as well. Man my two favourite monarch were killed. What a sad day" said Shock in a sarcastic way. "Now if Granmarg dies as well my plan will be complete. Delg won't be a problem at all and as for you...I know you are hiding over there"

Chazz and MissTaylor looked confused. Shock's monologue had ended with him pointing towards some old barrels. Suddenly out of the barrels came a tall figure. It was wearing a yellow armor, painted red by what seemed to be his blood.

Shock: "Looks like you escaped Kuraz"

The man named Kuraz didn't come closer but drew his sword. "You...you fiend. You used us all. You used him as well. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"

Once again Shock started laughing maniacly. "Listen to yourself you stupid arrogant piece of shit. I am the reason you are still alive. Now get down on your knees and thank me"

Shock pointed his two index fingers to the ground and as if he was controlling gravity Kuraz fell down to his knees. "That's better. Now come here"

It seemed as if invisible strings were pulling Kuraz. Despite that he found the strength to speak. "You know, Mobius was right. He knew about this all. He warned us as well. But we were fooled at that time by your words and didn't listen to him. But mark my words Shock:
Mobius, Thestalos, Caius, Raiza, Zaborg, THEY WILL ALL BE AVENGED. Because you are their killer, it is your fault they died. Fighting in this pointless war you created to fulfill your greedy needs. But be aware. The prince will wake up. And with the help of all the people here in the castle you will be defeated. SHOCK YOU REIGN IS OVER"

Shock's face filled with rage. Kuraz's body arose in the air and Shock threw it in an empty cell nearby. He then closed the cell's door and returned to his seat. Chazz and MissTaylor were left speechless. They didn't know what to say.

Shock: "Now...where were we?..."

Castle: Back Gate:


"S...save...Blaze...please"

And that was the monarch's last words. Sin closed his eyes and carefully placed his body in a corner. "You were a good fighter, Raiza the monarch."

In all the fuss Sin forgot about Kaiba. He turned back to look for him but he was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly he heard a voice behind him.

"Are you looking for this?"

Castle: Rear side

"Phew this guy was strong"

Aris paused to catch his breath after defeating Zaborg. Now that he looked at him better he was way smaller than the first monarch he faced. He decided to advance further in the castle. He hadn't taken a few steps when he heard footsteps down the corridor. He raised his eyes and saw a big black siluette approaching. In a low tone the siluette said.

"I am Delg. The 1st monarch. I am here to take you down"

About one and a half year ago...

"The prince is here, the prince is here!!!"

"Oi Zaborg don't be so loud. Caius and Thestalos are still sleeping"

Zaborg: "Sorry brother Granmarg I just got overexcited"

A few moments later all the monarchs had assembled in the castle's main gate. Shock along with Leon walked though the gate holding a young man in their hands. He was unconcious. He was short with short black hair and blue eyes.

"Is that him?"

Zaborg: "Oi Mr Caius be more respectful"

Caius: "Shut up kid. This is no playtime. We need to know if it's him or not"

Shock: "Do not be disrespectful Caius. Of course it is him. His name is Blaze...."

Now...

CASTLE: FRONT GATE

"He..he defeated the two dragons with ease. He is a monster."

Granmarg in his new form had easily defeated the two dragons. With Yusei unconcious Yugi was in a real tough spot. I guess all I can do now is help Yusei escape. He reached for a card but before he could activate it he saw Granmarg tearing it apart. He then punched Yusei away and stabbed Yugi in the chest.

"I am sorry Yugi Muto but these are my orders."

Yugi started falling. Everything was getting dark. He hit the ground. Or didn't he? He tried to open his eyes. And there in front of him two men were standing, one of them holding him and the other holding Yusei. He recognised the first man but the second one he didn't. Although they kinda looked like each other. He smiled and reached for his deck. He grabbed a card and handed it to the person. The person took it and smiled back at him.

"Do not worry Yugi, we will take care of things now."

With all his strength Yugi said: "Thank you...Steff"

He then passed out...

Castle: Side Hallway

Aris: "Damt..he is too strong and I am worn out."

Delg: "Give up human you are no match for me"

Aris: "Not yet! I still have my secret weapon"

Delg: "What are you talking about?"

Aris smiled and activated a card.

"Come to my side, leader of the beasts, you who ruler over the wild... GLADIATOR BEAST HERAKLINOS"

The gigantic monster, taller than Delg, appeared in front of Aris. It looked ferocius. Delg seemed a bit surprised but apart from that totally calm.

"Looks like an enjoyable battle. Let's begin, beast" cried Delg and charged ahead.

Castle: Back Gate:

Sin: "Who are you? Let go of Kaiba"

The man who was holding Kaiba didn't react. He just said. "I will take care of him. You continue and go help the others."

Sin was stunned. Who was this man? Why was he helping him?

"How am I sure I can trust you?"

"I could have killed you by now if I wanted to"

Sin blinked and when he opened his eyes the mysterious man and Kaiba were both gone.

"KAIBA! KAIBA!"

Sin's echo filled the empty room. Looks like I have no choice. He decided to go deeper in the castle and search for Kaiba and the man named Blaze. He was walking through the vast corridors of the castle. He just now noticed how high the castle was. It was about 200 meters tall, while all it's walls were painted white. Several windows appeared every now and then. After a while walking he finally heard noises. He took a turn and found himself in what seemed to be a hall. From there, there was a golden stairway leading upstairs, and 8 different rooms each one having a different colour on it. These must be he monarchs' rooms, he thought. Apart from that he saw a stairway straight ahead leading even further down, to what Sin thought would be the dungeon of the castle. Well they might as well keep Blaze in prison so I'll start searching the dungeon. . He had only taken a few steps when he saw a man running towards him. When the man noticed him he stopped running.

"Who the heck are you?" he asked.

"My name is Sinakis. And who are you?"

The man took a defensive stance and replied. "My name is WItch King. You have something I want, Sin"

The man charged at him while activating a card. A kunai appeared in his hands. Sin reacted fast drawing both a violet and a black sword, one in each hand. He shielded the man's attack. The man seemed slightly injured, but still it was obvious he was a strong fighter. He charged again and Sin barely escaped his attack. His muscles were starting to hurt from all the battles he had gone through. I have to end this quickly he thought. Sin jumped back and acttivated another card. "Come to my side, Wulf Darksworn Beast"

A muscular human-looking wulf appeared between the two men. "I ll take care of this sir" said the wulf in a serious tone. Without wasting any time he charged forward.

"Not the one I am looking for sorry. But since I have the opportunity let me show you something interesting..."

Chapter 32: ACE VS JOHN DOE

Castle: Side Hallway

Aris: "Damn you..."

Delg had just delivered the finishing blow at Heraklinos. He was also injured but not in such a bad state.

Delg: "With your pathetic monster gone, there is noone left to protect you"

He is right, thought Aris. I failed. I let this guy get killed and now this, damt I was supposed to be helpful.

"DAMT, I WON"T BE USELESS"

"Relax, Aris. You are not useless"

Aris turned around surprised. That voice sounded familiar. His eyes fell upon his eyes. Those sharp green eyes.

"Winduct" he whispered.

Delg, that looked bored until that moment got serious.

Delg: "Did you say Winduct?"

WInduct took a few steps revealing another man behind him. The second man was short, with short brown hair and dark eyes.

"Exactly" said the second man. "His name is Winduct"

Aris' eyes widened even more this time "H-Headmaster?"

Vem: "You did well Aris. Now stand back. We'll take care of things now"

Aris smiled, a faint smile and then fainted.

Castle: Main Hall

Sin: "Show me something interesting? What do you mean?"

Suddeny Witch King stopped moving. "I'll be damned."

Sin: "What are you talking about?"

WKing: "You...you are not the one I am looking for"

Wulf had reached WKing and tried to bash his head with his weapon. WKing dodged the attacked and with a fast move threw his Kunai, catching Wulf's head between it's two corners. With a single tap he be-headed the creature.

Sin: "NOOO WULFFF"

Sin saw that his blue bar was almost empty. It figures, he thought. Jain,Garoth,Gargonith,Wulf and even Judgment Dragon all in one day. I should be more careful from now on.

WKing: "I do not intend to fight you" his weapon vanished as he said that. "Shock, is down this corridor in the Dungeon. Your friends will propably be there. Now excuse me"

Sin: "Wha..WAIT"

But it was too late.The man had already vanished in one of the corridors. What the hell was wrong with that guy? thought Sin

Castle: Yard

Ace: "You are strong indeed. You managed to defeat both Gargonith and Batteryman Industrial Strength"

Doe: "Ha! It's only natural. My Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is a strong monster."

Ace: "Maybe yes but not your strongest! Let's do this Doe! COME FORTH SUPER ELECTROMAGNETIC VOLTECH DRAGON"

After Ace activated his card a big thunder-made dragon appeared before him. The dragon attacked REDMD(Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon), spitting ellectricity instead of fire. REDMD evaded the hit and replied with a fireball. Ace's dragon barely avoided the hit and charged at Doe's dragon. He tried to hit him with it's claws but he missed and Doe's dragon found the chance to claw back at Ace's dragon.Voltech Dragon took the hit but felt no pain as it's skin was made of metal. He then found the chance and leapt forward rapidly releasing waves of ellectricity. Despite being fast REDMD couldn't avoid them all and finally one of the waves, struck him. The dragon roared from the pain.

"Now is our chance" shouted Ace.

His dragon nodded and flew towards his opponent. He grabbed his throat with his claws and breathed hot ellectricity straight at his face. With one final horrbile scream the dragon vanished.

Doe: "I have to admit that was impressive, indeed."
Ace: "I do not want praise from you. Now come on, bring him on. I bet I'll take him down once again."
Doe: "Don't get cocky brat. You were just lucky last time"
Ace: "We will see about that"

Doe took a few steps behind. He drew a card from his deck. The air pressure around him suddenly changed. He opened his eyes and they had a vicious red colour. With a voice Ace didn't recognise, a dark deep voice, he said.

"OH ULTIMATE DRAGON, YOU WHO RULE OVER THE UNIVERSE, I CALL UPON THEE. COME TO MY AID, COME AND HELP ME DESTROY MY ENEMIES. I CALL UPON YOUR POWER...

5 HEADED GOD DRAGON

Doe threw his card midair and it was caught in a vortex. The vortex got more vicious over time and finally it piped down. When the smoke cleared, a ferocius beast was standing there. It had five different heads and it's body was as big as a huge skyscraper.

Doe: "Now Ace, let's see if you can pull this off"

Ace noticed that Doe's blue bar was empty. So there is a big cost in summoning this beast he thought. If I manage to take it out I' ll propably win..

Ace: "Alright! Now go Voltech Dragon attack his dragon"

The dragon leapt forward once again and released a huge wave of ellectricity headed towards Doe's dragon. The dragon didn't even attempt to move, insted he took the attack head on.

Ace: "It had no effect?"

Doe: "My turn. GO my monster destroy his pathetic creature"

One of the dragon's heads, realeased a motion of fire. Voltech Dragon dived to avoid it, but the flames followed the dragon. After a few seconds Ace's dragon was reduced to nothing.

Ace: "What just happened?"

Doe: "Each of the five heads has one unique ability. The fire head, known As Hono has the ability to allow it's flames to pursue the target until it hits it."

What fearsome power. And to imagine it's only one fifth of it's power, thought Ace.

Ace: "Well in that case I guess I'll call forth a knight to slay the dragon. Come forth THUNDER KING RAIOH"

A creature appeared before Ace. It was tall and had no arms, but instead two circular holes, filled with ellectricity were standng there.

Doe: "That puny creature will be no match. Hono head, fire attack"

The fire dragon head released another wave of fire targeting Ace's monster.

Ace: "Do it Raioh"

Raioh nodded and the two circular things around him began to glow. When the flames were about to hit him, they redirected inside the circular things. For a few seconds nothing happened, but then the flames came out of the two rings heading for Doe's dragon.

Doe: "Pff. IT'S POINTLESS. Mizu head take care of it"

This time the blue dragon's head took action. It released a a blue aura, that froze the flames before they reach the dragon.

"Now both Mizu and Hono heads attack"

Ace: "Raioh absorb it!!!"

Frozen flames came out of the dragon's mouths heading for Raioh. Once again Raioh absorbed them.

Ace: "Now Raioh hit him with it"

Raioh nodded. He tried to release the flames but nothing happened.

Doe: "Ha, looks like I was right on my theory"

Ace: "Oi Raioh, what happened?"

Doe: "This is the Mizu head's ability. It freezes whatever it touches. So those little rings of yours, are now frozen! Now Hono head! Finish him off"

The fire head released another fireball headed towards Ace's monster.

Ace: "Nooooo, Raioh"

The fireball hit Raioh head on turning him into pieces. Ace fell to his knees, feeling the pain from the loss of his creature. He quickly stood up facing Doe's ferocius dragon.

Doe: "Is that all you've got Ace?"

Ace: "You'd wish! Alright time for you guys! I call forth my guardians! BATTERYMEN AA"

The three little creatures appeared before Ace!

Batteryman 1: "Leave it to us Ace! We beat him once and we can beat him again"

Ace: "I have a plan. Listen to me"

After a few seconds the 3 AA's had taken battle position

AA1: "I hope you are ready big guy"

Doe: "GO, Hono head! Fireblast!!!"

The fire head released a wave of fire targting one of the AA's.

AA2: "So this fire will follow me right?"

The little creature started running. The fire was indeed following him.

AA1: "Now why don't you throw another fireball?"

Doe didn't respond.

AA1: "You were right master. As long as one fireball is out he cannot shoot another."

Doe: "Not bad..But still, Kaze head your turn"

This time a gray head breathed. But surprisingly nothing came out.

AA1: "Ha, looks like you failed..."

Doe smiled. "I wouldn't be so sure"

One second later AA1 was blasted back.

AA1: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. THIS IS HOT"

Doe: "Kaze head's ablity is to throw invisible flames."

AA2: " AA3 NOW!!!"

AA2 was still followed by the fireball. Doe haven't noticed it but the little monster was now very close to his dragon. Just upon reaching in front of him it turned around and continued running. From the opposite direction came AA3, holding something that looked like a mirror. When the 2 creatures met AA2 passed over AA3. The fireball attempted to follow it but AA3 got in the way and the fireball hit the mirror changing direction and heading for the dragon. Doe didn't have time to react and the fireball hit the Hono head, head on.

Ace: "Great job guys that's one head down. Now regroup"

The 3 AA's reached back to where Ace was. One of them was severely injured from Kaze head's attack but the two remaining seemed to be ok.

Ace: "Good job guys"

Doe: "That changes nothing. 1 head down, but still my dragon has 4 more. Now Kaze head, Mizu head, combination attack"

The two heads breathed at the same time, at different directions.

Ace: "Guys move"

Doe: "That's not happening. Chikyu head attack"

This time a yellow looking head roared angrily. The earth began to shiver below the monsters' feet. They tried to run but their legs were trapped in the cracks created by the dragon's roar.

Doe: "Chikyu head's power is the power to control the earth itself, changing it's shape at will. Now meet your end you lowly creatures."

Suddenly the ice attack grew bigger. Ace realised it had merged with the Kaze head's attack. It was too late. The attack hit the three creatures head on destroying them utterly. Once again Ace felt real damage.

Doe: "Looks like this is the end Ace. These were your guardians. When your guardians are defeated in combat your blue bar automatically empties. Wich means you can summon no more monsters, or weapons to fight for you"

Ace slowly got up. He looked in pain but he hadn't given up.

"What you say is true Doe. My blue bar is empty. But my heart is not. I will continue fighting. Even if I am reduced to nothing, I will still stand up and fight. And you know why? Because I have something to fight for. And that is my friends."

Redgar's and Winduct's images flashed through Ace's mind.

"We came here to save our friend. I cannot give up now. We haven't saved him yet. And still, I was taught how to fight by a great man. I cannot let him down by losing this fight."

This time Sin's and Blaze's images flashed through Ace's mind.

"And that's why I'll keep fighting. Doe! I respect you as a man fully. You are a strong duelist. But it ends here. It's time to witness the results of my training."

Ace closed his eyes.


Doe(thinking): Wha..what is this power I am feeling?

"THE HOLY LIGHT OF PROTECTION, SHINE NOW AND BECOME ETERNAL LIFE. HELP ME PROTECT WHAT I LOVE. A REGAL BIRTH. ARRIVE NOW...

ANCIENT FAIRY DRAGON

The air pressure around Ace changed. A light aura engulfed him. His wounds closed in an instant and the night became day. When this pandemonium of colours finished a beautiful creature was standing in front of Ace. It was a blue, human shaped dragon. It had two hands, with golden gloves in each one and was wearing a yellow armor, with red shards on it. It's wings were big and white, just like a butterfly's. The creature had long green hair and his blue eyes were fixed upon Doe's dragon.

Ace: "Now Doe, let's finish this battle"

Chapter 33: The beggining of the end

Vem: "Winduct I leave this to you. I will go look for Shock"

WInduct: "Ok headmaster"

Vem dashed forward and passed through Delg.

Delg: "I won't let you"

Winduct: "Your opponent is me"

He dashed forward, activating a card. A blaster appeared in his hand and he shot at Delg. Delg managed to avoid it, but he lost Vem from his sight.

"You brat."

Winduct: "Come forth, Krebons"

The little creature appeared before Winduct.

Krebons: "Wassup bro? Whose ass needs kickin' ?"

Winduct pointed at Delg.

Krebons: "That weakling? Come on man, ain't you got something better dan dat? "

Winduct: "Just do it"

Krebons: " k , k I got it. Yo, big guy! Ready to get beat up?"

Delg looked at Krebons for a second and then started laughing

"Hahahahaha, what is this? Seriously? This is the best you've got?"

Winduct: "I think he is one of my strongest familiars yeah"

Krebons turned at Winduct: "Oi oi oi oi oi. Watcha mean one of da strongest? Aint I DA-BEST? Ain't I DA AMAZING MAGE?"

Winduct: "Yes, yes you indeed are now go get him"

Krebons turned at Delg once again. "Yosh, here I go"

He dashed forward charging at Delg.

Delg: "This will be fun"

Delg took a few steps and shot a black beam at Krebons. When the smoke cleared Krebons was nowhere to be seen.

Delg: "Hahahahahahahahaha. So much for him. Now bring on your next.."

"Where da fuck are yo-ou lookin' at pal?"

Delg turned around and surprised saw Krebons sitting on Zaborg's body, bored."

Delg: "How did you escape?"

"Easy. Space travel"

Delg remained silent for a momment. He then started laughing again.

"Good one, kid"

"I'm serious bro"

Delg: "You mean to tell me that an imbecile like you has mastered one of the three forbidden arts?"

Krebons: "Indeed. Tell him Winduct"

Winduct: "He it telling the truth"

A while ago...

"This is very interesting"

"What is interesting, Headmaster?"

Vem: "Winduct, I will teach you something. Something very few have mastered. It is called The Forbidden Arts."

Winduct: "Forbidden arts?"

Vem: " Yes. They are the three strongest techniques in this world and in order to achieve them you must have Psychic, Demon, or Angel type familiars. That's why I said it was interesting."

Winduct: "I see. And what are these 3 techniques?"

Vem: "They are Space Travel, Overtake and Body Convert."

Winduct: "Have you mastered these techniques yourself?"

Vem: "Only Space Travel. And that I shall teach you. Now present me your familiars."

Back in the present...


Delg: "Then I guess I shall take this fight more serious. Come forth, Dark Grepher, Armageddon Knight"

Two black armored knights appeared in front of Delg.

"My knights, take care of this brat" he said pointing at Krebons

The knights nodded and charged.

Winduct: "Krebons, please finish this fast. We need to go look for Blaze."

Krebons: "Meh, you always ruin da fun. But if this is what you wish for"

Krebons vanished, and appeared behind the two knights, he shot a beam at them but both dodged. They then charged against him and slashed at him, but in the knick of time he vanished again. He then murmured some words and the two knights started fighting one another!

Krebons: "Mind Control, succesful"

Dark Grepher slashed at Armageddon Knight tearing him in two. Winduct found the chance and fired his blaster against the remaining knight, headshoting him.

Winduct: "And now for the monarch"

Krebons: "Aye Sir"

Krebons charged forward heading for Delg. Delg seemed confused.

Delg: "Damn you brats. I guess I have no choice"

He took a step forward and shouted. "SELFDESTRUCT, ACTIVATE"

Castle: Dungeon

Shock: "Looks like Delg is out as well. I really hope Winduct isn't dead. He was an interesting fella, as I had expected from him back then. I have to take care of something. I'll be right back"

He said that and then vanished.

Chazz: "At least my pops won't go unrevenged. Only one monarch left"

"Don't get your hopes up"

MissTaylor and Chazz remembered there was another person here.

MissTaylor: "Your name was Kuraz right? What do you mean?"

Kuraz: "I mean that the last monarch, is propably as strong as Shock"

Chazz: "WHAT? SERIOUSLY?"

Their conversation ended as they heared steps on the stairway.

MissTaylor: "He is back already?"

Kuraz: "No, that's not him. He wouldn't use the stairs. He is a master of Space Travel"

"Anyone here???"

The voice was heard throughout the chamber.

Kuraz: "That voice..."

Then out of the blue two figures appeared in front of them.

Upon seeing them all three of them were left with their mouths open

Kuraz: "SIN.."/Chazz: "H..H..headmaster???"

Vem: "ssssst, quiet. Sin release them"

Sin: "Him aswell?"

Vem: "Yes. I think we have common goals Mr. Monarch."

Kuraz: "I'll have to agree"

Chazz: "What...How...When...?"

Vem: "I'll explain everything once we are out of here."

Kuraz: "We must hurry to the front gate. Otherwise your friends will be dead in no time"

Sin: "I trust him. He is an honorable man"

Vem: "OK then, let's go"

Castle: Yard

Ace: "Time to finish this Doe."

Doe: "Yup, looks like it. Go Kaze head Mizu head COMBINATION ATTACK"

Again a water pillar, that kept getting bigger appeared heading for Ancient Fairy Dragon.
Suddenly midwasy through the distance it stopped and vanished.

Doe: "What happened?"

Ace: "He happened"

Doe looked at the direction were Ace was pointing and to his surprise he saw Shock standing there.

Doe: "What is the meaning of this Shock? You're in my way"

Shock: "Sorry about that Doe, I just need your dragon's power."

He vanished and then appeared under Ace's dragon. He touched it, wore a glove over the hand that touched it and then vanished once again.

Ace: "What was that about?"

Doe: "Trouble. Ace, I think we should cancel our duel for now. Things got serious and if we want to stay alive we must defeat Shock."

Ace: "I understand. Ancient Fairy Dragon,retreat"

Doe: "Let's head for the front gate. I bet everyone will be there"

Castle: Side

Winduct: "Krebons move Aris back at the HQ and then come back here"

Krebons: "Got it! Wow that was a huge explosion. That sneaky bastard."

Winduct: "Hurry"

Castle: Front Gate

"ROCK BLAST"

Redgar: "Go Junk Gardna, shield it"

The creature in front of Redgar took defensive stance blocking the incomig attack.

Granmarg: "I ain't over yet."

More rocks kept coming at Redgar but Junk Gardna kept blocking them. Suddenly a voice was heard.

"STOP THIS BATTLE"

Granmarg stopped, recognising the voice"

"Kuraz, what is it?"

Kuraz: "Granmarg, Mobius was right"

Granmarg's eyes widened.

"How do you know?"

Another man appeared behind Granmarg and talked

"Shock told us"

Redgar: "Chazz?? You were here?"

Granmarg: "That worm. How are the rest of the monarchs?"

Kuraz didn't speak

Granmarg: "Kuraz?"

Kuraz: "They are all dead"

Granmarg: "That..that worm.."

Kuraz: "I was inprisoned until those two, he pointed at Sin and Vem, came at my resuce. They say they randomly bumped into each other and decided to check the dungeon. They claim that the prince is their friend and they are trying to resuce him.

Redgar: "What??? Blaze is a prince? Sweet. And MissTaylor? Vem? Sin? How did you all end up in here?"

Vem: "Long story. What we need now is to regroup."

Steff: "I sent Yugi and Yusei back to headquarters to rest. Now all we need is a plan to fight Shock. Can all of you fight?"

Redgar watched them all one by one:

Vem, his headmaster the man that got him into all this mess to begin with.
Sin, a man who thought was his enemy but turned out to be his friend
Chazz, a guy he wanted to punch when they met, but now was one of his best friends.
MissTaylor, the woman that helped him when he was in need
Steff, his big brother

And the two monarchs wanting revenge on Shock.

Redgar: "Let's do this guys. Shock cannot stop us. We will, defeat him"

???: "Oh really, you will?"
