Ναι είναι αποκρουστικός και φυσικά ένας κλέφτης αφού εκμεταλλευόμενος το γενικό χάος στους κανόνες του παιχνιδιού Duel Monsters στην πρώτη σεζόν "έκρυβε στο σκοτάδι" τις κάρτες του προκαλώντας σύγχυση στον αντίπαλό του ο οποίος δεν ήξερε που να επιτεθεί. Φυσικά όπως ήταν φυσικό ο αντιπαθητικός αυτός τύπος έφαγε Mind Crush, πήγε στο Shadow Realm και η στρατηγική του ξεχάστηκε αφού ήταν αδύνατο να εφαρμοστεί σε φυσιολογικές συνθήκες... μέχρι σήμερα (!!!). Για όσους ενδιαφέρονται να δουν κάτι πρωτοποριακό, σας παρουσιάζω τις πρώτες κάρτες του "True Illusions" Archtype βασισμένο στο deck του PaniK και στο Ace-Monster του, το ξεχασμένο Castle of Dark Illusions. Archtype Name: "True Illusions" Starting Date: 30/9/2013 Completion Date: N/A Trivia:The "True Illusions" archtype is a unique archtype that offers a player the option to play monsters in face-down Attack Position. The archtype consists of various Quick-Play Spell Cards representing Illusion Spells, the ace-card of the deck which enables most of the archtype options - the Field Spell "Castle of True Illusions" and various monsters. Since the field card is a castle, the theme of the monsters is taken out of twisted and intimidating versions of people of the Royal Circle. The Levels of those monsters represent their status in the hierarchy, with the lower ones (the servants) being LV1-4 Fiend-Type monsters and the higher ones (the leaders) being LV5-7 Spellcaster-Type monsters. Also those monster's stats end in either 20 or 30 (20 when the former number is even and 30 when the former number is odd) which is a reference to PaniK's ace-card's stats "Castle of Dark Illusions". - Castle of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Field
Activate only by sending a face-up “Castle of Dark Illusions” you control to the Graveyard. “True Illusion” monsters can be Normal Summoned in face-down Attack Position. When a face-down Attack Position monster attacks or is attacked: Flip it face-up before Damage Calculation. Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can re-arrange all face-down cards you control. As long as you have a “Castle of Dark Illusions” in your Graveyard: This card cannot be destroyed by other card effects. When this card is removed from the field: Destroy all face-down cards you control.
- Recruiter of True Illusions:
DARK/LV3/Fiend/Effect
During either player’s turn: You can discard this card from your hand: Select 1 face-up monster you control. As long as this card is in your Graveyard, that monster’s name and all cards with the same name are treated as “Trainee of True Illusions”.

- PaniK Attack:
Spell Card/Quick-play
Activate only if you control a face-up “Castle of Dark Illusions”. Target 1 face-up “Dark Illusions” or “True Illusions” monster you control: Destroy that target. Then you can add 1 “Castle of True Illusions” from your deck to your hand. During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated – if both that monster and this card are in your Graveyard: Special Summon the destroyed monster.
- Jester of True Illusions:
DARK/LV2/Fiend/Effect
If this face-down Attack-Position card is selected as an attack target and flipped face-up: After Damage Calculation, while you control another face-down Attack-Position monster(s): Your opponent selects one of those monsters, flip if face-up. If that monster’s ATK is higher than the attacking monster’s: Destroy the attacking monster and also, this card cannot be destroyed by battle until the end of the Battle Phase. If that monster’s ATK is lower than the attacking monster’s: Destroy the selected monster. During the End Phase of a turn this card attacked or was attacked, while you control a face-up “Castle of True Illusions”: you can flip this Attack Position card face-down.

When this face-down card is flipped face-up: it gains 500 ATK. During the End Phase of a turn this card attacked or was attacked, while you control a face-up “Castle of True Illusions”: you can flip this Attack Position card face-down.

- Horror-Queen of True Illusions:
DARK/LV6/Spellcaster/Effect
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by banishing a face-down Attack Position monster you control. When this face-down card is flipped face-up: you can return a banished “True Illusions” monster to your Graveyard. If this face-down card attacks or is attacked, and destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: you can Special Summon 1 “True Illusions” monster from your Graveyard in face-down Attack Position. During the End Phase of a turn this card attacked or was attacked, while you control a face-up “Castle of True Illusions”: you can flip this Attack Position card face-down.

- Terror-King of True Illusions:
DARK/LV7/Spellcaster/Effect
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned by banishing 2 “True Illusion” monsters in your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned while you control a face-up “Castle of True Illusions”: You can pay 700 life points – flip this card face-down. When this card is flipped face-up: target 1 card your opponent controls – send the target to the Graveyard. During either player’s turn, when this face-up card is targeted, either for an attack of by card effect: You can return 1 “Castle of Dark Illusions” in your Graveyard to your hand: Banish this card. Special Summon it during that turn’s End Phase.

- Fear-Priestess of True Illusions:
DARK/LV5/Spellcaster/Effect
If you control a face-down Attack Position monster, this card can be Normal Summoned without tributing. When this card is flipped face-up: you can discard 1 “True Illusions” monster to target and destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. As long as the discarded monster is in your Graveyard, the targeted monster cannot be banished or Special Summoned from the Graveyard. During the End Phase of a turn this card attacked or was attacked, while you control a face-up “Castle of True Illusions”: you can flip this Attack Position card face-down.

- Ghost of True Illusions:
DARK/LV1/Fiend/Tuner
Once each turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this face-down card is flipped face-up: increase its level by 2. During the End Phase of a turn this card attacked or was attacked, while you control a face-up “Castle of True Illusions”: you can flip this Attack Position card face-down.

- Mirror of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-play
Activate when a “True Illusions” monster you control battles an opponent’s monster. Neither player takes Battle Damage and neither monster can be destroyed by battle until a monster declares an attack. After this card has been activated: if you have a “Castle of Dark Illusions” in your Graveyard: you can set this card face-down instead of sending it to the Graveyard. You can activate the effect of “Mirror of True Illusions” only once per turn.
- Forbidden Spell of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-Play
Activate only if you have more than 100 life points. Pay all your life points except for 100: Flip all Attack Position “True Illusion” monsters you control face-down. You can also re-arrange those monsters. When a face-down Attack Position monster you control attacks or is attacked: flip it face-up before Damage Calculation. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn this card was activated. You can banish this card in your Graveyard: Target 1 face-down Attack Position monster you control: flip it face-up.
- Spell of Fake Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-Play
Activate by banishing 1 “True Illusions” card in your Graveyard.
*If the banished card is a Monster Card: Special Summon this card in your Monster Card Zone. It is treated as a monster with the same name/Attribute/Level/Type/Effect/ATK/DEF as the banished monster. When this card attacks or is attacked, apply any effects that would activate if the banished face-down monster was flipped face-up. If this card would be flipped face-down: destroy this card.
*If the banished card is a Spell Card: Apply the banished card’s effect as this card’s effect.
During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated: Destroy this face-up card.
- Diamond Spell of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-Play
After activation, select and apply 1 of this card’s effects:
*Send 1 “Dark Illusions” or “True Illusions” card from your Deck to the Graveyard: Add 1 level-4 or lower “Dark Illusions” or “True Illusions” monster from your Graveyard to your hand.
*Send 1 “Dark Illusions” or “True Illusions” card from your hand to the Graveyard: Draw 2 cards.
- Nightmare Spell of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-Play
Activate by targeting 1 face-up “True Illusions” monster you control: Send the target to the Graveyard. As long as both this card and the targeted monster are in your Graveyard: During each of your opponent’s End Phases, your opponent selects and applies one of the following effects:
*Your opponent selects 1 monster in his field/hand with ATK equal to or higher than the targeted monster: send the target to the Graveyard.
*Your opponent takes damage equal to half the targeted monster’s ATK.
- Magnifying Spell of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-Play
Target 1 face-up “True Illusions” monster you control. The targeted monster gains 400 ATK and its DEF becomes 0 until the End Phase of this turn.
- Deforming Spell of True Illusions:
Spell Card/Quick-Play
Activate by targeting 1 face-up “True Illusions” monster on the field and 1 face-down Attack Position monster you control: Flip the 1st target face-down; also flip the 2nd target face-up.

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "True Illusions" monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can return 1 "True-Illusions" Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card would be removed from the field by an opponent's card effect: You can send 1 "Castle of Dark Illusions" from your hand or deck to the Graveyard instead. When a face-down Attack Position monster you control is flipped face-up: You can return 1 banished "Castle of Dark Illusions" to your hand. Once per turn, during you Main Phase: You can banish 1 "Castle of Dark Illusions" in your Graveyard: Special Summon 1 "True Illusions" monster from your Graveyard.
